Spotlight: Morgan, Photographer of MoPix

One of the coolest parts about my job as a business headshot photographer near Holland, MI is that I get to meet some awesome people from the community. One of those people is Morgan, the owner and photographer of Mopix, who I had the privilege of photographing a while back. Morgan has to be one of the most ambitious people that I’ve ever met because she started her business from the ground up. Willing to learn the craft and take constructive criticism very seriously. Her goal is to better her business year after year. For that reason (and many others), I felt it was befitting to feature not just the images I took of Morgan, but also the work that she does.

Morgan created Mopix back a few years ago, coming to me for all the advice. She was never one to turn advice down, and since then has watched her business grow blossom into the portrait studio it is today. I really admire the fact that Morgan is not willing to quit! She is determined to succeed, and provide for her family a stable, steady income. Also, she juggles 3 crazy boys and a baby girl, along with running her studio! How inspiring is that?

Obviously, Morgan was an easy person to photograph, but not just because she was blessed with good genes. During our shoot, she was very laid back and was willing to try anything new! She was looking for variety, and images that captured her personality. Coming to Holland, MI’s headshot photographer was a good choice. There was also one point when she about fell of this bed trying to get the perfect pose!

It’s people like her that make me love my job. So, thank you, Morgan, for giving me the opportunity! Here’s to years of success and happiness in all your endeavors.
