I get a lot of questions from potential clients asking about what they might expect at one of our sessions, the Best family photographer near Grand Haven, MI. It’s an excellent question, especially if you haven’t done many portrait sessions in the past or if you’re coming to me as a new client. It’s so good of a question, in fact, that I figured I’d go ahead and address it right here.
I’ll start by sharing some of experience. Yup — totally taking a moment to #bragalittle. My first taste of photography was in 2012 shortly after I had my first son! I loved the experience of photographing someone else because I got so much joy every time I photographed my son, I wanted other people to feel that same joy, and I wanted that joy to be because of me. To make a long-winded story short, ASP Photography officially launched in 2013, and since then we’ve worked with hundreds of different clients to deliver photos they’ll treasure forever.

I’ll be the first to admit that there are lots of other photographers out there, and many of them are wonderful. The ASP Photography Experience: Booking through Delivery
With all the above noted, here’s exactly what you can expect from beginning to end when working with ASP Photography
1. Booking: You can reach out to us through email or phone to book your session. The first step is that contact!
2. Consult: The next step is the in person consult. At this appointment, we get to know each other, view all of what ASP Photography has to offer, look at props, talk locations, style, ect. We really go over all the details!
3. Payment: The session fee is due at the time of booking to secure your spot. ASP Photography books months in advance, so a session fee is required to get on the calendar.
4. Session Day: Simply show up at the location about 15 minutes before your session begins and let the magic happen! You don’t have to stress about posing or angles or anything like that. We’ll make sure you feel comfortable and look flawless.
5. Processing & Delivery: Typically, we process all images for proofing within 1-2 weeks. This all happens at the studio or in your home! Enjoy your own private viewing appointment with snacks, while you ooo and ahhh at all your gorgeous photos. During this appointment, you select the most amazing images you would like to showcase on your walls, in an album or print collection.
