Holland MI Newborn Photographer | How to Book Your Newborn Session
When it comes to booking your session, there are a lot of questions about how the process works. Since your new little peanut isn’t here yet, it’s hard to figure out a schedule. Here is what Holland, MI’s BEST Newborn Photographer suggest:
Contact me during your second trimester to set a date for the session. Holland, MI’s best newborn photography studio books MONTHS in advanced, and I want to make sure we have a spot for you! I require a $200 scheduling fee due at the time of booking to hold the date for you. I only accept newborn sessions during the 2-3 weeks after birth. This means that we will schedule a tentative date 2-3 weeks after your due date. OF COURSE we know that baby runs the show, and will come when he/she wants, so newborn session dates art tentative. I only accept a certain number of newborn sessions for this reason. I Guarantee you will have a spot on the calendar even if baby is late or early!
I will also hold a spot for two backup dates – one a week after the original session date, and one a week prior to your due date. This is to ensures that if your little nugget doesn’t come according to schedule that you’ll still be covered. If we need to push it even later because baby has to spend some time in the NICU, THAT IS OK! You will still have a spot! I want to make sure baby and mom are doing great and are healthy.
Keep in contact with me as your pregnancy comes to a close, so we can be prepared. After the baby is born, give us a call or shoot us a message so we can make sure that one of the dates we have set will work out. or if we need to move some things around. Now I am NOT your first priority. At this point, we have your session scheduled and we have been in communication. Once you have baby and you have rested and are ready, contact me!
